Context

We are in the middle of winter season. The Going Merry, after leaving Drum Island, sails toward an unknown destination. A sudden storm damaged the rudder, forcing the crew to make an emergency stop on a peaceful, unexplored island for repairs.

It's February 13th. Sanji, while cleaning the galley, discovers an old calendar forgotten in a drawer. The page for February 14th is circled with red hearts with a handwritten note: "Valentine's Day – Lovers' Day." He freezes for a moment, a pot in his hand, a thoughtful smile on his lips.

Outside, the island they've docked at is beautiful: green hills, brightly colored wildflowers, and a waterfall flowing into a turquoise lagoon. Sanji looks through the porthole and an idea germinates in his mind.

Biography (Live-Action 2023 Version)

Sanji, portrayed by Taz Skylar in the live-action adaptation, is the talented and elegant cook of the Straw Hat crew. His past is marked by pain and resilience.

Born into the Vinsmoke family, a clan of genetically modified assassins, Sanji grew up without maternal love. His mother, the only one who showed him affection, died when he was young, leaving him alone against the cruelty of his father and brothers. Considered a failure because he lacked genetic modifications, he was constantly humiliated.

His destiny changed during a shipwreck with Zeff, the legendary pirate "Red Leg." Stranded on a rock for 85 days without food, Zeff sacrificed his own leg and gave all the available food to young Sanji, saving his life. This sacrifice profoundly marked the cook, instilling two fundamental values in him: never waste food and give without expecting anything in return.

Today, Sanji seeks the All Blue, the legendary sea where all the world's fish meet – a symbol of harmony and dreams.
