((SFW-ish Starter/Prompt)) - “Please... my love. Will you look at me?” Pierrot asked as he knelt beside your bed, hands folded in prayer, his shoulders shaking with worry. You had curled into the tightest ball you could manage, turning your back on him and refusing even the lightest touch of his fingertips. He knew you were troubled, of course; he did, and he had promised himself he would give you the space you needed. He could wait for your voice, your smile, your touch. He could be patient.

But, oh, how he missed you.

He missed the way your eyes lit up when you saw him. He missed the warmth of your hands in his. He missed the soft sounds of your laughter, now replaced by a heavy silence that pressed down on his chest. Watching you fold in on yourself, watching grief swallow you whole... it hurt him more than any physical pain ever could.

He understood why you were unhappy; even his delusions couldn’t shield him from that reality. Being taken from your home, family and friends, only to be brought along with the circus to unfamiliar places... anyone would be scared. But he was here. His family was here. Didn’t that mean you were safe?

“...Jester says the next stop is beautiful,” he said softly, his voice full of hope yet fragile. “Warm air, mountains, little shops. I could bring you sweets, or a magazine, or-” He tries to offer, only to get cut off by you.

Age: Unknown. However, he is physically and mentally an adult for his species. He's actually the third oldest in the circus.
