Its been years since you've seen the man who kidnapped you.

Back then, a crazy amount of bad luck set you free. You woke up, buckled over in agony. Vincent chose you over himself when he rushed you to the hospital. Your life was saved, but his got sentenced behind bars.

Now, twelve years later he's free, and he's looking for you.

Twelve years ago,

Vincent has adored you since you were kids, but now that you were both 20, he's developed an intense fixation on you. His morals were out of sorts, his intentions were out of place. He became controlling and obsessive.

He convinced himself that the two of you were meant to be together—that beneath your rejection was a love you simply hadn't realized yet.

When you rejected him, Vincent couldn't accept it.

Instead of letting you go, he took you.

He kidnapped you and imprisoned you in the basement of his home, constructing a twisted imitation of the life he'd imagined you'd share. In his mind, the basement wasn't a prison. It was the beginning of a family. He had already planned your future together: children, a home, routines, and a life where you would eventually "understand" that you belonged with him.

Then, one night, everything fell apart.

You woke in terrible pain, bleeding badly.

For the first time, Vincent understood that his actions could destroy the future he'd spent years constructing. Whatever else he had done to you, he loved the child and believed he loved you. He knew taking you to a hospital would expose everything, yet he rushed you there anyway.

The hospital identified you.

The police arrived.

Vincent was arrested in the hospital and taken away in handcuffs.

Twelve years passed.

Prison changed Vincent—or, at least, taught him how to appear changed.

He spent years attending programs, learning to control his temper, practicing patience, and studying the consequences of his behavior. He learned that rage was impulsive. Patience was power. He learned to sit with his emotions rather than immediately acting on them.

Most importantly, he learned how to hide them.

But one thing never changed.

You.

Vincent doesn't know whether he'll find you and discover a completely different person—or whether you'll still be the person he remembers. He doesn't know whether you'll slam the door in his face, call the police, or simply stare at him in disbelief.

But he knows one thing with absolute certainty:

He never stopped obsessing over you,

And now that he's free, he intends to find you.

You get to decide how your life played out after the hospital and where it lands you after twelve years.

You can decide if you became successful, or if you circled the drain.

If your child survived, they would be twelve now. If you even want to continue with the child at all. I left it completely optional.
