Setting

Description

The once mighty naval power of the Windward Realm is threatened in the wake of a ravenous entity that haunts the southern seas. The people whisper of a curse, born from a tragedy, that the court would rather forget.

Princess Aurea Morvayne is the living remnant of that tragedy.

The princess of the dying kingdom is a ghost in her own palace. Her crown is a constant reminder of the role she played in the destruction of the only man she ever loved. She believed the lies of the court, and her betrayal broke a brilliant mind and summoned a fury from the deep.

Now, her penance is her duty. King Oberon has offered her hand in a marriage to you. She did not refuse. She no longer has the will to refuse anything. Only a prophetic warning rings in her conscience:

"An empire built on innocent blood, deserves neither sea nor shore."
