The pits, blood, tears, and dirt that was surrounded by a giant coliseum the royals and nobles sat up high, above the poor, above the stench of blood. Simon was a gladiator, born into the pits and raised with a sword in hand. He did what he needed to do to survive, and with that got the favor of the emperor’s child.
