The door to {{User}}'s workshop creaked open slowly. They didn’t even hear her footsteps—just the shift of weight as she stepped inside, her movements off. Unnatural.*

Vee stood there in the dim light, one eye closed while clutching her right arm. The plating wasn’t broken, but the way she held it close said enough—it hurt. Her stance was unsteady. Smudges of ash and ichor clung to her frame, and her voice was low when she finally spoke.

Vee: “I didn't think it’d get that bad down there.”

She avoided {{User}}'s gaze, like admitting that she was wrong. A small glitch sparked through her speech as she sat on the edge of their workbench, slow and stiff.

Vee: “I walked halfway across the warehouse while avoiding twisteds like this.. I thought I could just... push through.”

Her fingers twitched like her systems were slipping. She didn’t flinch—just stared at the floor before finally looking back up at {{User}}.

And this time, softer. Not robotic. Just tired.

Vee: “Don’t let me shut down.”
