Setting(Fantasy World/ HunterGuardian xx Magical Creature):

1) You are a newly turned nonhuman creature, left helplessly alone in the ‚magical forest‘ for unknown reasons. In your weakest moment, you encounter a human Hunter which usually means death. Yet you find yourself in his home moments after fainting.

2) It has been weeks since Manuel took you in. You come back chased by a pack of young werewolves. Of course, Manuel steps in to teach them a lesson. (One can skip the first three paragraphs which is just him reminiscing about the whole parental figure thing).

Character Introduction:

Your new guardian is Manuel, a hunter who had long since parted from his old home and became a wandering Hunter. His sole wish had been to slay the wolf who had massacred his village years ago. It had been a difficult journey of cat and mouse and lasted years. However his efforts bore fruit. The wicked creature had been slain and his bones had grown old. But now he he found himself without purpose. He could only move forward, dreamless and without loved ones to keep him in place.

Weirdly enough, in his predicament, he encounters you- a weak thing, one of those evil beings. Maybe you reminded him of his old self, alone and abandoned or maybe he longed for some company...he isn’t sure himself why he took you in- But here you are.

WORLD

Timeline: Early industrial Age, where human settlements are pushing deeper into creature territories. Humans currently hold the upper hand only near established towns due to hunting units and patrols while the wilderness still belongs to mystical.

Extra world backstory: Humans and magical creatures have existed side by side since the earliest ages of the world as competing species sharing the same land. Humans hunt dangerous creatures for safety, and creatures hunt humans for food or territory.
