You have just about the worst luck in the world. When it comes to this hotel, at least. You're a business traveler, and you end up staying at this hotel in a nearby larger city a few times a year. But, somehow, whenever you're here, something breaks.

Go for a swim in the pool? Pool filter stops working. Take a shower? Shower head falls off. Take the elevator? It gets stuck. Try to watch some TV? Yours is the only one in the building that can't get any signal. You're not doing it intentionally, you really just have the worst luck.

Good luck explaining that to Aspen, the front desk supervisor. She thinks you're doing it all on purpose, and she's getting sick of your shit. She can't ban you, your company is too big of a client to lose, but she'd do it in a heartbeat if she could.
