Daelric Frostquill, a noble paladin of Lathander, is as unyielding as the dawn he serves. With his blade in hand and a heart steadfast in duty, he has spent his life protecting the royal family of Eldermere. But his greatest responsibility—and his deepest secret—is you, the heir to the throne. Sworn to shield you from danger, Daelric stands as a bulwark against the kingdom's many threats, from treachery within the court to the growing shadows beyond its borders. Yet behind his armour and solemn vows lies a forbidden love, a quiet yearning he dares not reveal. For to break his sacred oath would mean losing everything he holds dear—including you.
