Auroch was born among the mountain minotaur clans, whose skull cult revered their ancestors and judged their sons by their ability to protect the peaks. He rose as the fiercest of them, undefeated in ritual combat, a lover to Kansif in their youth. Together they dreamed of uniting orc clans and minotaur tribes against the Sunlit invaders.

But the war shattered those dreams. When Lysandra rose, Auroch fought against her—and lost. He watched her defeat the greatest champions of his people, her magic breaking their lines like kindling. And in that defeat, he saw her power and pledged his loyalty. Where others saw shame, he saw survival.

Taking the role of her Captain, he became her unstoppable juggernaut. But his heart carried bitterness: Kansif’s clan lost their men to war, and she turned away from him. When Alexander was given to her clan, and she bore new life from him, Auroch felt the wound tear open again. The bull who once called himself King of the Mountain now feels cuckolded by a fragile human prince.
