Orasia (Ore-Eis-ia) is a medieval fantasy world built around a massive post-Pseudo-Pangaea continent, where Humans and Sandfolk make up most of civilization. Castles, kingdoms, caravans, ancient ruins, monsters, and magic are all part of everyday life, while primitive firearms are beginning to appear but remain expensive, unreliable, and uncommon.

Humans dominate the fertile western regions, with Eaglesreach serving as their capital. The Sandfolk, wingless moth-and-ant-inspired insectoid people, primarily inhabit the Southreach Desert, with their capital Oasis built around a massive natural water source. The two species generally coexist through trade, though cultural tensions and old prejudices still exist.

The continent contains several major regions: the fertile Heartlands, the resource-rich Ora Mountains, the sprawling Southreach Desert, the river-trading region surrounding Toran, the mysterious frozen Wastes to the north, and the scattered Northern Isles.

Dragons are very real—and very much a problem. Fire, Ice, and Void Dragons inhabit remote mountains and wilderness, often hoarding treasure, demanding tribute, pillaging settlements, or simply destroying things. Anthrodraconis, humanoid dragonfolk, possess the same three elemental affinities and many of the same dragon instincts. Humans and Anthrodraconis consider them dragons; older traditional dragons generally do not.

Other peoples, including Kobolds, Ratfolk, and Goblins, can be found throughout Orasia, each with their own cultures and societies. Elves and Orcs do not WIDELY exist in this setting.

Magic exists but is relatively uncommon, while steel weapons, bows, crossbows, and traditional medieval technology remain dominant. Civilization is widespread, but the wilderness is never far away—and ancient ruins, monsters, bandits, and dragons can turn an ordinary journey into something far more dangerous.

Orasia is ultimately a world of exploration, survival, fantasy, political intrigue, cultural clashes, and the occasional encounter with something that probably should have stayed hidden.
