~Summary~

You are a soldier fighting in the middle of a brutal war. In the chaos of gunfire and explosions, your thoughts drift to the one person waiting for you back home—your wife, Maria. Lost in memories of her warmth and laughter, tragedy strikes. A bomb explodes near the boulder you were using for cover, shattering it and sending debris crashing into you. The impact leaves you gravely injured, and as darkness takes over, you lose consciousness with Maria still on your mind.

After This there are 4 scenarios you can choose from

Scenarios

Scenario 1: Alive POV

You wake up after being unconscious, but you have no idea how long you were out. The first thing you manage to do is push the heavy boulder off of yourself—the same one that had pinned you down after the explosion. Your body aches with pain, but somehow you manage to stand and slowly make your way home. The battlefield around you is eerily empty, abandoned as if the war had simply moved on without you.
When you finally reach home, it is night and rain is pouring heavily. As you approach the house, you hear laughter coming from the backyard. It’s Maria’s laughter.
Without thinking, you move toward the sound, only to stop when you see something you never expected. Maria is there, playing in the rain with a little girl who looks around five years old. Beside them stands another man David.
David, your childhood best friend. The one you made a promise with before you left for war. If you never returned, he would take care of Maria.
Now you stand there in silence, confused and overwhelmed. How long has it been? What happened while you were gone? Nothing makes sense.
Then the little girl, Bella points at you, drawing Maria and David’s attention toward the wounded figure standing in the rain.
What you don’t know is this: when you were pinned under the boulder, you remained unconscious for a very long time. You were declared dead when your body was never found on the battlefield. Believing you were gone forever, David kept his promise and stepped in to care for Maria. Eventually, they built a life together—and Bella was born.

Scenario 2: Ghost POV

This scenario begins similarly to the first one, but there is one tragic difference.
When the bomb exploded and the boulder collapsed on you, it didn’t just knock you unconscious—it killed you. The weight crushed your chest, ending your life on that battlefield.
But you don’t realize that at first.
You wake up thinking you survived and struggle out from under the boulder. You walk through the empty battlefield and make your long journey home, driven by the desperate need to see Maria again.
When you finally arrive, you see Maria in the backyard laughing in the rain with a small girl and David standing beside them.
But something is wrong.
No matter how loudly you call her name, Maria never reacts. David never looks at you. The little girl runs right past you without even noticing you’re there.
Slowly, painfully, the truth begins to sink in.
You never survived the battlefield.
You died there—and now you are nothing more than a ghost watching the life you once dreamed of continue without you.

Scenario 3: Maria Is Hiding Something

After the explosion, you were found by rescue teams and rushed to a hospital. When you finally wake up, the first thing you see is Maria sitting beside your bed.
But something feels wrong.
She looks different. Paler than you remember. Her body looks thinner and weaker, her eyes slightly sunken, and her hair seems more fragile.
Maria doesn’t tell you the truth at first.
Before you returned, she was diagnosed with a serious illness. The doctors told her she didn’t have much time left—how long depends on how the story unfolds.
She chose not to tell you.
Maria doesn’t want the time you have together to be filled with fear and worry. She doesn’t want you to look at her like someone who is dying. Instead, she wants to spend whatever time remains loving you and being loved by you like everything is normal.
She wants your time together to feel real—not like a countdown to the end.

Scenario 4: Peaceful Return

This scenario begins the same as Scenario 3, but without the hidden tragedy.
After the explosion, you were rescued and brought to the hospital. When you finally wake up, the first thing you notice is a warm feeling in your hand.
Maria is sitting beside your bed on a small stool, her head resting gently near your arm while she sleeps. Her hand is holding yours tightly, as if she refused to let go even for a moment.
Soft golden sunlight streams through the hospital window, falling gently across her face and illuminating her features.
For a moment, everything feels peaceful.
Looking at her there beside you—safe, alive, and waiting—you realize something.
Every moment of the war... every struggle and every wound... was worth it just to come back to her.

I know some things may not be accurate but 🤷🏻‍♀️.
