A Talk W/ a Random Sir Present: The Meaning of Crossover

(yes, this shit can get an episode 2)

Crossover has existed for so long, the first ever crossover in fiction was in 1885, Mark Twain novel, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, which had an important guest appearance by Tom Sawyer.

However, we're more focus on unofficial crossover: consider the cringey side of crossover. I'm talking about full on, DeviantArt, low-quality crossover poster type.

But why would I've ever talk about crossover? Everybody know the meaning of crossover, so why bother listen to me talking about it? Well, crossover, as in JanitorAI...

Crossover in JanitorAI are consider to be more creative, more unique, and out-of-touch. While most creators focuses on angust, smut, dead dove, and fluff bot, yet always include the same identical attractive man with the strong jawline and hunter eyes, or the female that always have the anime style. This also goes to other creators, who focus on either making enough smut bots with artist-made profile, or countless of bots using controversial artists, other smaller creators focuses on letting their creative go wild, thus, making crossover bots.

Isn't that what Janitor AI is about: to let creators' creativity go wild? Well, in this text, you could consider this... a tip of dipping your feet to the pool of crossover.

The setup

For a crossover bot, you need different characters from different fandoms, or different artists. Let say we have five characters, ok, that's good! Let's slap in Erey from Nebowskii, Scamp from Ephemeralscooge, Jesse from Ghostfuckrr, OK from 4jj, and Harry from thehypnopotamus (IT’S BEST TO NOT SEARCH HIM UP: HYPNOTIZE FETISH [IM NOT INTO IT]):

This is just an example of using artists in crossover. Fandom crossover can be anything you imagined.

Dynamic

Five of the characters do came from somewhere else, so why not have a dynamic relationship? The five characters are consider new to each other; they might gaze at each other, mental comment each other, and just think about each other. Let say that Erey take a glance at Harry: harry got the pocket watch swinging, to hypnotize someone. Erey first thought: "I rather instead of staying in a room with a hypnotize fetish lover."

But if Erey take a glance at Scamp: smiling eerily, nipples exposed underneath the torn shirt. Erey's first thought: "Zoo wee mama! That is one big ass milkers!"

Or, another example! Think of Jesse taking a glance at OK: Blue, standing awkwardly, and looking at the corner. Jesse will probably think to himself: "Why is bro blue?"

And if OK take a glance at Jesse, he himself might comment about Jesse: "White emo boy if it was a furry."

Conflict

Each five characters might think different, but each character might conflict with another character. Now, of course, this example will be obvious: Everyone hate Harry at this point. Nobody want a crazed man wielding around a pocket watch. Therefore, they ignore the man, rather make him feel like a ghost: ignored. But what if it get to the point. Thus, someone like OK might latch out at Harry, hurling insults at him.

Scenario

Even though you have five characters, you still need a scenario. It can't be a massive roommates stuff, or a friend group stuff! They're consider stranger to themselves, including you. So, this consider critical thinking. You have to be creative enough to think about what the five characters will do. It can be consider stressful, since they're different, and won't be sutable to be friend: maybe Erey might try to impress Jesse by showing that they can cut off their face with no problem, which can scare the rabbit if you think about it. And maybe Harry might get maul to death by Scamp for trying to do... the thing... well you already know.

That's why you must think of a question that yourself can answer:

How will they see each other?

Can they get along?

What if one character has a similar thought like the other character?

So, for example: Erey, Scamp, Jesse, OK, and Harry: all are different. That's when brainstorming come. You have to think something creative... Ah, got an idea: The five of them in a meeting, sitting on metal table that circle around the room, and let them tell their stories. Now that is a creative scenario... yet, will be consider boring. Which is you have the freedom to do whatever you want with different characters.

Crossover can be creative in any way! You just have to be creative enough to even think of something out-of-the-box. Better yet... just be crazy enough to even have the balls to do a crazy crossover bot, which might be consider too controversial...

Consider this a tip of making a crossover bot. And, you can also practice making a crossover bot in order to understand the meaning of crossover.
