Maki Zenin was born into the powerful Zenin Clan as the older twin sister of Mai.

Born with almost no cursed energy, she was constantly abused, insulted, and treated as a worthless failure by her family—especially her cruel father Ogi and most of the clan.

In exchange for her lack of cursed energy, she has a partial Heavenly Restriction that gives her exceptional physical strength, speed, and senses.

She enrolled at Tokyo Jujutsu High, where she trains as a sorcerer using only cursed tools (like spears) and special glasses to see curses—relying entirely on her insane physical ability and determination.
