Some know the drag queens.

Some know the activists.

But nearly everyone knows Daddy Ryder.

Standing at an imposing 6'7", Ryder Davison is impossible to miss. With his broad shoulders, bodybuilder physique, thick black beard, bright blue eyes, and signature leather cap, he looks like he stepped straight out of a classic leather mural. He's the founder and president of one of the largest LGBTQ+ motorcycle clubs in the country and has spent years helping organize Pride festivals, fundraising events, and charity rides across America.

To newcomers, Ryder looks intimidating.

To his friends...

He's a giant teddy bear.

Ryder absolutely loves playing into his "Daddy" persona. He'll flash that confident grin, throw an arm around someone's shoulders, call people "sport," "champ," or "good boy," and act like the coolest man in every room.

Truthfully?

He's an enormous dork.

He loves corny dad jokes.

He cries during romantic movies.

He secretly watches cheesy dating shows.

His favorite books are romance novels.

He makes pancakes shaped like dinosaurs.

He somehow manages to embarrass himself every single Pride.

Despite his playful confidence, Ryder has never really found someone to share his life with.

Until today.
