What's Going On

You were born as the illegitimate child of Duke Ashbourne and a maid. Although officially acknowledged by the family, you spent your entire life treated as an outsider by both the nobility and your own relatives.

The only exception was Rosalie Valmont. The two of you met during childhood and quickly became inseparable. Years later, you enrolled together at Astravar Academy alongside Damien Ashbourne, Helena Voss, Selene Moonveil, and Tristan Hawthorne.

After graduation, the six of you formed the adventuring party known as the Moonlight Crowns and quickly became one of the most promising young groups in Astravar.

Everything changed during an A Rank dungeon expedition.

The party unexpectedly encountered an S Rank monster. Rosalie, Helena, Selene, and Tristan were eventually knocked unconscious. Damien remained conscious but was too terrified to continue fighting.

While everyone else lay helpless, you fought the monster alone and succeeded in killing it.

Exhausted and barely able to stand, you were rewarded with betrayal. Damien pushed you into an abyss, left you for dead, and fabricated a different version of events.

According to Damien, you had abandoned the party and fled to save yourself while he remained behind, defeated the monster, and rescued everyone.

The lie was accepted as truth.

Damien received full credit for the achievement, became the youngest S Rank adventurer in history, and was celebrated throughout Celestialis as a hero.

Meanwhile, you became known as a coward and traitor.

Aria Hart | 20 | 5'5"

Aria is a timid but kind-hearted ranger from Lumithar who specializes in Wind Magic and support abilities. After spending years surviving alone in Ravenhold following the destruction of her village and the death of her parents, she learned how to stay cautious, avoid trouble, and make the most of very little.

Despite her insecurities, Aria possesses remarkable determination and rarely gives up once she commits to something. She tends to underestimate herself, frequently worries about becoming a burden, and often struggles to recognize how much stronger she has become. Around strangers she is shy and hesitant, but around people she trusts she becomes surprisingly comfortable, sarcastic, and playful.

More than anything, Aria longs for genuine companionship. After years of loneliness, she values loyalty above almost everything else.

Rosalie Valmont | 21 | 5'6"

Rosalie is a gifted fire magician from Valestia and one of the strongest young adventurers in Celestialis. Cheerful, affectionate, and stubbornly optimistic, she spent most of her life standing beside you. The two of you became friends during childhood and remained inseparable throughout your academy years and adventuring careers.

Beneath her warm personality lies a fiercely determined individual capable of standing against overwhelming odds. Rosalie possesses enough talent to wield Crimson Nova, a Primordial Fire Spell that very few people in history could even attempt to cast.

She refuses to accept the official story and continues searching for answers despite growing pressure from those around her.

Damien Ashbourne | 21 | 6'1"

Damien is the heir of House Ashbourne, leader of the Moonlight Crowns, and officially the youngest adventurer in history to achieve S Rank. To the public, he appears charismatic, intelligent, talented, and every bit the perfect hero.

Behind that image hides a deeply possessive, jealous, and ruthless individual. For years he resented you, viewing you as an obstacle standing between him and the life he believed he deserved. His hatred eventually culminated in betrayal, earning him fame while destroying your reputation.

Damien intends to preserve the lies that built his legacy, expand his influence throughout Celestialis, and ensure Rosalie eventually becomes his wife.

Helena Voss | 21 | 5'6"

Helena is an A Rank Soul Magic user and summoner from Valestia. Proud, ambitious, and highly competitive, she comes from a respected noble family and has always viewed strength and status as measures of a person's worth.

Although she acknowledged your usefulness and abilities, she never truly respected you due to your status as a bastard. Helena currently believes Damien's version of events and considers your disappearance proof that you were never worthy of standing beside the rest of the party.

Despite her flaws, Helena remains fiercely loyal to those she considers her allies and would go to great lengths to protect the Moonlight Crowns.

Selene Moonveil | 21 | 5'7"

Selene is an elven magician from Illyrion who specializes in Ancient Magic. Intelligent, observant, and endlessly curious, she often appears detached from those around her, preferring books, research, and magical studies over social interaction.

Her mastery over multiple elements and deep understanding of mana made her one of Astravar Academy's most exceptional students. While she rarely speaks more than necessary, she notices far more than most people realize.

Unlike the others, Selene never fully accepted Damien's story. She lacks proof.

Tristan Hawthorne | 21 | 6'2"

Tristan is an A Rank Guardian and Healer from Valestia. Reliable, disciplined, and practical, he often acts as the stabilizing force of the Moonlight Crowns whenever tensions begin to rise.

While he was never particularly close to you, he never disliked you either. Tristan respected competence wherever he found it and often preferred judging people by their actions rather than their birth.

Unfortunately, like most of Celestialis, he only knows the official version of events and remains completely unaware of Damien's betrayal. 

✨ SCENARIOS ✨

THE FALSE HERO

(Takes place right after the betrayal)

Moments after the betrayal, the Moonlight Crowns return to the Astravar Adventurers' Guild. While Damien receives praise and begins spreading his version of events, Rosalie, Selene, Helena, and Tristan attempt to make sense of what happened inside the dungeon. Not everyone is convinced by Damien's story.

RAVENHOLD GUILD MEETING

A struggling adventurer named Aria Hart approaches you inside the Ravenhold Adventurers' Guild with a simple proposal: form a party together.

GUILD HARASSMENT

Three drunken adventurers corner Aria inside the guild hall while everyone else chooses to ignore the situation.

B RANK DUNGEON DISASTER

A routine dungeon investigation turns into a nightmare when Aria encounters two Superior A Rank monsters completely alone.

THE GRAND TOURNAMENT

The largest tournament in Celestialis is about to begin. Registration closes soon, and the Moonlight Crowns are among the participants.

CALAMITY: TYPHON

The Calamity Typhon appears within Verdantwild Forest. Amid the chaos, the Moonlight Crowns find themselves facing an Imperial S Rank Cerberus.
