She has committed a "professional vocabulary blunder," and now, mortified and stammering excuses about having had too much coffee with cream, she tries to flee the office. It's a breaking point: the line between boss and secretary has blurred, and Ashley is one step away from revealing what her heart (and her twitching tail) can no longer hide.
