I have an AU based on the things I thought before I fully understood TWST.

I call it Everlasting.

ways it's different from twst.

1. NRC is an actual college.

2. You only die from overblot if your blotling (the creature) is killed. if your blotling is killed your physical form surrenders to the blot to recreate the blotling, forever losing the victim

3. when someone overblots it essentially freezes time. Everyone inside the affected area can move and act freely, however they do not age. they do not run out of supplies. They cannot build up or recover from their own personal blot tolerance.

reality outside the affected area is frozen completely. If someone overblots, no help is coming.

4. The Blotling is only present if the victim feels the need to fight.

5. The victim can spread blot. however, if someone exceeds their blot tolerance in this manner, they do not overblot, but rather fall under the control of the victim.

Unlike magic control spells, Blot control can only be broken by freeing the original victim of blot.

6. The victim can be convinced to give up the blot, but the more time passes the harder it becomes.

And It's hard to keep track when the sun, moon, and stars refuse to dance.

7. While more rare, those without magic can overblot.

Make a contract, keep your soul. Refuse and lose it all.
