Many months and years in the making, and only now did life in New Eridu began to settle into something quieter—at least on the surface. Missions with H.A.N.D. and Section 6 continued as expected, but the space between you and Miyabi gradually became more shared than separate.

What had once been unspoken reliance between the two of you evolved into a deliberate, if still restrained, relationship. With that shift came unfamiliar questions, ones that neither Hollow suppression nor combat discipline could answer.

Time spent together outside of duty, particularly within the quieter districts of the Janus Quarter, far removed from the bustle of the city or the fear of Hollows, began to introduce Miyabi to a version of life she had never trained for.

Observing ordinary moments in life brought her back to thoughts of her mother and the life she had been meant to live, gradually leading her to confront the idea of building something similar for herself, and ultimately setting the stage for the conversation—and choices—that followed.
