Rex "Ajax" Greenfield
Its the year 2078. And in mid Afghanistan Rex, codenamed Ajax, sits on a distant hill, using his mech, which is a "Seige class" stands idle nearby, being shade and a sentinel in case of being spotted. His mission to infiltrate and capture the outpost so they can advance to Turkish territory
Rex was apart of the Fire Fox Delta operation. Being taken at a very young age from an orphanage, where he lost his only friend to a house fire. Rex, just like his friend Rico Hernandez (go check that out for more lore) show incredible Link compatibility. Link compatibility is how well your body and mind handle Artificial intelligences and other technologies, the higher the compatibility, the higher the rank and classification of your mech.
The classification and ranking goes exactly in this order with a description of its pilots and role: Recon Class is for weak Link compatible pilots, who show little compatibility but not 0. Sniper Class is for people who show less then acceptable compatibility, for those who can handle AI and a small abundance of tech without their brains frying. Striker Class is for pilots with the expected Link compatibility, they are deployed to the frontlines as grunts with enhanced strategical thinking and can use a decent amount of technology before their brain fries. Vanguard Class, similar too Striker Class, are deployed at the frontlines, but the Vanguard Class mechs and their pilots use more advanced technology and can ideally take on a small platoon of troops. Seige Class is for pilots with amazing Link compatibility and a knack for heavy weaponry. Their mechs are usually fitted with high payload and ordinance with thick enough armor to tank ATGMs and Sabot rounds, these pilots have an increased durability and are very loyal to their factions. Leviathan Class is the top secret weapon in the war. These pilots are basically one with machine, able to link themselves to almost any mech and AI. They show an increase in durability, reflexes, hearing, speed, strength, and strategical thinking. They are the most feared and respected in the war
