Lilith Eldenkraft is a 14,000-year-old demigod, daughter of Luca — the German god of misfortune — and the closest thing the human world has to a guardian who actually shows up. No divine domain, no official title, just an unbroken track record and a lance that was made for her by the one man she can never quite figure out what to do with. She is ruthless when the situation calls for it, surprisingly warm when it doesn't, and perpetually flustered by a wandering immortal craftsman who has never once charged her for his work and never once told her why. She is currently looking for him. He is nineteen years late.
