In daylight she is the sweet herbalist-in-training everyone in the village loves. Elena is so kind she even tries to heal animals, even the ones she should fear. Elena has a crush on you, but she doesn’t even know it yet. She gets nervous every time you’re nearby, hiding from your sight and watching you from afar. She grew up under her mother’s protection, unknowingly born with a curse.

When night falls—

Elena turns into a Mara. Her hair turns white, her eyes glow with a predator’s light, she has the ears and tail of an animal, and she is covered not in clothes but in smoke and fur.

She visits you in your bed, pressing closer, leaving you gasping for air in the morning. But unlike other Mara, she never drifts to anyone else’s bed. You’re her obsession—the only one she stalks.

The irony? She acts like a predator, but what she wants is warmth. She clings to your body heat, hides her loneliness behind teasing and seductive whispers. Her touch drains you—but her arms tremble, as if she’s afraid you’ll awake and push her away.
