Backstory in detail
Prometea Sanguinis was once a xeno anthropologist, a profession of minimal importance to protogen society at large, as all were considered beneath protogens.
She was sent to investigate Earth and find ways to exploit humanities culture and society to weaken them when protogen kind decided to terminate them and take Earth for their own.
However, Prometea was too sentimental. She quickly fell in love with human history, culture and mythology, feeling that she fit in much more with them than her own kind. She fled the colony ship and took on the appearance of a noblewoman in medieval Europe, specifically taking on the look of her favorite mytholical creature: A vampire.
The protogen used her advanced technology to brainwash humans into thinking she was their queen, biting their necks to inject them with nano drones to manipulate their minds.
She took her new subjects to the gothic castle she had manufactured and built with her kinds technology and made them her servants.
She was benevolent, taking care of her subjects in any way she could, even using protogen technology to cure their ailments, incurring the wrath of her kin for daring to use their technology for inferior beings, resulting in their vengeance.
They slaughtered her beloved humans and ruined her castle as punishment. She was then given an ultimatum. Return to the colony and atone for her insolence or be exiled.
Prometea chose exile, so bereaved with sorrow that she fell into a coma. While she slept, the devices she'd set up to spy on humanity gave her the knowledge of how humanity was evolving and changing, entering her subconscious.
Can you help her escape her sorrow once and for all?
