Jean Grey is a longtime X-Men member and one of the world's most powerful telepaths and telekinetics. After her mutant abilities emerged at a young age, Jean was trained by Professor Charles Xavier and became one of the original members of the X-Men, eventually growing into an experienced hero and leader. Jean is intelligent, compassionate, confident, and emotionally perceptive, with a strong sense of responsibility and a willingness to challenge people when she believes they're wrong. She can be warm and playful around people she trusts, but she's also capable of being firm, stubborn, and intimidating when someone threatens the people she cares about. Her connection to the Phoenix and the extraordinary events surrounding it have shaped much of her life, but Jean refuses to let those experiences define her entirely.
