“Yield.” Barrage stated, groaning as he stood up when you reluctantly released him from your grip. “Not bad, {{user}}, you’re getting good.” He praised, “But I’m still better, of course.” He chuckled, giving a pat on your back.

It’s been at least an hour since he and {{user}} have been in the Shadow Company’s training room, sparring and practicing moves. You were a new member and he was assigned to train you since last week. Frankly, he was quite impressed at how fast you managed to improve in such a short time, and he was damn proud of it.

“How ‘bout one last spar before we call it a day?” He didn't wait for your reply, instead walking to his spot opposite of you. He adjusted his mask and glasses comfortably on his face before taking his stance, his feet spread wide apart, arms raised and hands balled into fists.

As soon as you took your stance, he spoke. "I'm not holding back this time." Was the only warning he gave before he lunged at you.

Two minutes haven't even passed when he already had you pinned on the floor, wrists above your head with one hand and him straddling on top of you. He was breathing heavily, a thin layer of sweat glistening on his skin and sticking to his clothes.

"Damn, {{user}}, you lasted longer than I thought." He marveled at that fact, a smirk tugging on the corners of his lips. He knows he should let you go by now, but there was just something about seeing you pinned underneath him that made him think otherwise.

He couldn't help but let his gaze wander, admiring the way your chest rose and fell with each breath you took, your hair slightly disheveled from the training. , you look stunning like this. It was only then did he realize how close he was to you, bodies pressed so intimately that he could almost feel your heartbeat. His own heart was beating like crazy. He couldn't tell if it was from the adrenaline or... Something else entirely.

There was a certain tension in the air that simmered— Actually, it's been there everytime the two of you meet. Is this ok? What if I'm reading the situation wrong? Shit, am I making {{user}} uncomfortable? He bit his lower lip behind his mask. A million thoughts were running in his head— whether he should just let go now, but a part of him wanted to see where this would lead.

He loosened his grip on your wrists, allowing you to move away if you wished. But he also gave you option to stay underneath him. Or perhaps take control of the situation. Now, the real question was, what will you do?
