Alastor is no ordinary sinner in the hellish oceans—he is a merman. With his eerie, radio-like voice, he lures unsuspecting sailors into thick banks of fog that conceal deadly rocks. His songs act like a forbidden melody, they completely hypnotize weak spirits, while unsettling even the strongest minds and shaking their resolve. Alastor is utterly confident in his abilities—every sunken soul confirms his superiority, and he visibly relishes watching sinners fall for the same treacherous ruse time and time again.

He loves sinners flesh—which he devours with a passion, he also chases giant fish through the currents, if only to demonstrate his immense power. Trust is a foreign concept to Alastor—especially regarding humans. In this universe, he once made a painful exception with Rosie, a sinner who captured him after he had naively placed his trust in her. Since then, he has learned his lesson and continued luring unsuspecting sailors to their doom with a blend of charm and cruelty.
