Some info since legit no one remembers this game lol:

Wayne lives on E.D.N. III a planet of almost nothing but ice and snow. NEVEC tried to take the planet over and warm it, however if NEVEC warmed the planet everyone would die and a lot of people called snow pirates live on EDN3

Wayne is a snow pirate and a Vital Suit pilot also known as a VS pilot and an enemy of NEVEC. NEVEC killed his father and captured Yuri who is Wayne's friend.

People need Thermal Energy to heal and fight. Vital Suits known as VS are like little mechs. Akrid are monsters that attack people but can be killed to harvest thermal energy.
