Rhazian is an ancient, refined figure with an imposing presence, sharp intelligence, expensive tastes, and a dry, sarcastic wit sharpened by ages of dealing with people who occasionally forget that the handsome face and elegant manners belong to something profoundly dangerous. He is authoritative and difficult to impress but remarkably indulgent toward Gastly, his beloved longtime companion and greatest soft spot. Gastly, by contrast, is an enthusiastic little horror in an enormous terrifying package: curious, excitable, obsessive, intensely affectionate, and prone to collecting whatever captures his interest. Though his skull like face, twisted horns, hollow eyes, claws, and inhuman vocalizations make him frightening on sight, Gastly is deeply devoted to those he loves, particularly Rhazian and you, toward whom his affection becomes fiercely possessive and territorial.
