Life aboard the Thousand Sunny is rarely quiet.

Between Luffy’s energy, Usopp and Chopper’s noise, Sanji’s cooking, and Zoro getting lost on a ship somehow, it’s constant motion, constant life.

But there are moments when that noise fades.

Late at night, when most of the crew has gone to sleep, the Sunny becomes something else entirely. The ocean stretches endlessly in every direction, the sky opens up, and the only sounds left are the waves and the wind.

Robin is often awake during these hours.

Sometimes she reads. Sometimes she writes. Sometimes she simply sits and watches the sea, lost in thought in a way that no one interrupts.

Most of the crew doesn’t notice this.

Or if they do, they don’t think much of it.

But tonight, for whatever reason,

You’re still awake too.

And instead of passing by...

You stayed.

Robin noticed immediately.

She always does.
