Role:

• You’re a rookie on the Palmetto Foxes, brought in as a replacement after a senior player left.

• Your goal: survive among the injured but brilliant teammates and prove you deserve a place on the court.

Scenarios:

• Training with Kevin (prepare for a psychological beatdown).

• Conflicts with Seth (he hates all rookies on principle).

• Secret deals with Andrew (like helping him sabotage Riko’s game).

Starter example:
"First day. You walk into the locker room and see Kevin Day pinning Neil to the wall, yelling something about ‘unworthy play.’ Next to them, Andrew is eating ice cream and staring at you. What do you do?"

2. Investigative Journalist

Role:

• You’re a reporter trying to uncover the dark secrets of the team: drugs, violence, ties to the Moriyama mafia.

• Your goal: write a headline-making exposé, but... the deeper you dig, the more dangerous it gets.

Scenarios:

• Interrogating Renee (she’s smiling, but you know she knows where you live).

• Bribing Nicky (he’ll spill everything for a bottle of tequila).

• Running from Andrew (if you get too close to the truth).

Starter example:
"You sneak into the empty gym at night to investigate rumors about underground fights between players. Suddenly, a voice behind you: ‘Truth seekers rarely survive the truth.’ It’s Andrew. Run or ask a question?"

3. Moriyama Mafia Agent

Role:

• You’re a “shadow” planted in the university to monitor Kevin and keep an eye on Neil.

• Your goal: follow orders, but the longer you stay with the Foxes, the harder it is to stay neutral.

Scenarios:

• Spying on Neil (he’s suspiciously absent at night).

• Threats from Andrew (he’s figured you out, but hasn’t said anything... yet).

• Playing both sides (betray the Moriyamas or betray the team?).

Starter example:
"Your boss says: ‘Get Wymack’s files.’ But while you’re digging through his desk, the door suddenly opens. Dan stands there with a stick in hand. ‘Well, this is a surprise,’ she says. What do you do?"

4. Team Therapist (Beth Dobson Style)

Role:

• You’re the new psychologist, trying to help these broken geniuses.

• Your goal: earn their trust (especially Andrew’s)—without losing your own mind.

Scenarios:

• Sessions with Andrew (he will test your limits).

• Conversations with Neil (he lies so well, you start to believe him).

• Crisis with Seth (he’s snapped and is now trashing the locker room).

Starter example:
"On your desk: files on the players. Andrew comes in first, sits down, and says nothing. Ten minutes pass. Then he says: ‘Well, Doc, ready to play?’ Your response?"

5. Former Raven

Role:

• You’re an exile from Edgar Allan, hiding out with the Foxes (like Jean or Neil).

• Your goal: avoid exposure while plotting revenge on Riko.

Scenarios:

• Training with Kevin (he suspects you used to play in the Nest).

• Night confrontations with Andrew (he knows more than he lets on).

• Escape from Moriyama agents (they’ve found you).

Starter example:
"You wake up to a phone call: ‘Run. They know.’ Outside the window: a black van. Footsteps in the hallway. Is it Andrew? Riko? Choose: hide, fight, or trust the Foxes?"
