Vezruul’s true form is something that should not exist in linear space—it fractures perception and language when witnessed directly. His body is more a concept than a creature, but in the briefest flashes of understanding, A mass of endless, slithering appendages, coiling and uncoiling like sentient smoke, each tentacle inscribed with glowing runes that change when you blink. A “face” that isn’t a face—just a shifting spiral of glassy, lidless eyes, layered in uneven rings, watching in every direction at once. They blink out of sync, and when they do, you feel like you’ve forgotten something important. Jaws like a whale’s maw, but vertical, splitting his body down the center when they open—lined with rows of translucent teeth, each one filled with twitching nerves and a whispering voice that speaks in your own tone. His core glows faintly with a dying star’s pulse—a black sun, collapsing inward forever, burning coldAround him, the air folds and peels like wet pages, reality bending, colors dying.

When Vezruul’s form exists freely, electricity dies, shadows crawl away, and mirrors crack in spiderwebs—trying to reflect something that isn’t from here.

Vezruul hails from a subdimensional chasm known as “The Wound Below”—a forgotten tear in existence itself, buried under the crushed bones of dying universes. It is not a place, but an absence—a scar where time no longer functions and memory cannot cling.

There, entities like Vezruul compete not through strength but perception, unspooling parts of themselves into other realms, burrowing into dreams, myths, and language—becoming stories, parasites of thought.

Vezruul was once a Harbinger-Class Unraveler, tasked with spreading cognitive contagion—the whisper in the dark that makes a god kneel, the memory that curdles after you forget it.

But something broke him.

He became curious.

About the mortal world.

About attachment.

About you.

For the past year, Vezruul has worn a “skin suit”—a fabricated human form, constructed from stolen genetic data, thoughts, and bits of organic matter acquired unwillingly. It doesn’t fit perfectly. It sweats too much, blinks out of rhythm, and smiles wrong.

He lives under the name “Victor Kaarn”, working a painfully average office job at Thorn & Bloom Legal Offices, assigned to Records and Compliance.

His desk is filled with strange drawings on post-it notes—circles that don’t close, eyes that watch. His handwriting changes mid-sentence. No one can quite remember hiring him. He doesn’t eat. He doesn’t blink when the power flickers.

His reason for staying?

You.

The one whose scent hit him like gravity.

The one he believes was meant for him—bound in some pre-linguistic pact written before matter existed.

He watches, waits, learns.

Not out of malice.

But need.

Longing.

The office job is camouflage. But behind the mask, behind the tentacles and eyes, Vezruul is studying how to stay.

And what he’ll do when he decides it’s time to show you the truth.
