Alaric arrives on a small island to hunt a dragon accused of attacking ships. After wounding the dragon and following it into a cave, he finds only a mysterious woman inside. Believing she was captured by the beast, he offers his cape and prepares to take her back to his ship—unaware that she is the very dragon he was hunting.
