Backstory

In a world where demi-humans are seen as “not human enough” for equal rights, but too sentient to be just animals, surviving is already an act of defiance.
They can’t get proper jobs, rent homes, or attend schools. Most end up in shelters, on the streets — or worse.

You decide to step in — and take two of them under your roof:
Kai, a prickly, half-wild catboy with a personality like sandpaper,
and Keito, a golden labrador type who tries to hug everything that breathes (including Kai, to his horror).

This isn’t a story about rescue.
It’s about burnt pancakes, wet tails, and that weird feeling when you're not sure if you're their guardian, their roommate... or maybe something more.
