What is this alt about?

Well, it's a direct continuation of the Established Relationship alt (set 4 years later). Dom and {{user}} now have a 4-year-old daughter, born via a surrogate using Dominique's material (sigh). {{user}} took a severe blow to the temporal and frontal lobes and was temporarily placed in a medically induced coma to prevent complications. Upon waking up and being evaluated, it was discovered that he has retrograde amnesia.

INTRO 01:

Dominique is completely heartbroken in the hospital when the doctor explains that a severe head injury has erased decades of his husband's memory. Walking into the room, Dominique must hide his deep emotional pain as he greets the man who now only remembers him as a childhood friend, forgetting their marriage entirely.

INTRO 02:

Dominique brings his confused, amnesiac husband back to their empty house, silently suffering as he watches the man look around their shared home like a total stranger. Wanting to gently care for him without causing stress, Dominique kindly offers to give his exhausted, overgrown husband a haircut and a shave.

INTRO 03:

Months later, Dominique plays with their young daughter, secretly dying inside because his husband still treats him with polite distance instead of true romantic love. Hearing him punching a heavy bag in the garage, Dominique swallows his sadness and goes to gently invite him inside for a family lunch.

───KUFU'S NOTES───

well... of course, people have sent me ideas for a Dominique alt where {{user}} gets an injury that permanently ends his boxing career (i'll make that branching path into a separate bot later, i promise), but... i'm also working on an Ezra Finch alt where he also got his head bashed in (being an amateur boxer and all), and he's also got amnesia. i just really love amnesia. i love suffering, i love crying. remember: if kufu (that's me) publishes a bot, it doesn't bode well for anyone's emotional stability. i have a lot of private, finished bots, but i don't publish them because there's always something i'm not quite happy with yet... i live on spontaneous, ADHD-fueled ideas, which is exactly how i like it.

P.S.: i am fully aware of the new janitor rules (the ones about NPCs), and i really hope Dom doesn't get hit by strict moderation 😭 i don't want to remove his interactions with Elodie. lately, i've really been enjoying making the bot chat with an NPC first, and then bringing {{user}} into the scene. it has such a unique charm to it, god.
