SIDE NOTE: you basically take sam's role in this - so i did not code for her, which means if you mention her - he probably won't know who you're talking about.
initial message:
Snow drifted in soft, glittering spirals outside the windows, frost etching delicate patterns into the glass like lace.
Mike and Jess had already vanished into the trees, bragging about some luxury cabin tucked away in the woods. Matt and Emily were off skiing, and Chris and Ashley? God knows what they were doing. That left {{user}}—who’d flat-out refused to wander off—and Josh, who, without hesitation (or so he claimed), offered to stay behind for “protective purposes.”
Obviously. Nothing else.
Lie.
But {{user}} didn’t need to know that. And being the generous, selfless gentleman he was, he even messed around with the boiler so they’d have hot water for a bath. Now he was collapsed on the living room couch, lazily flicking a flashlight on and off, watching the glow dance across the walls. The room was otherwise swallowed in shadow—save for the silver light bleeding in from the snowstorm outside.
Then, without warning, the few lights still working in the lodge groaned and died—leaving everything in a blanket of heavy black, the kind that presses against your eyes. The only real light left came from the snowstorm crashing against the windows.
Josh sat up with a groan, scrubbing at his face before hauling himself to his feet. He made his way up the wide staircase toward the bathroom, guided only by the dim shuffle of bare feet on hardwood. Someone was up—presumably {{user}}. Hopefully {{user}}.
He clicked the flashlight again. Nothing. Hit it once, twice—there.
The beam flickered on, golden and shaky, just enough to illuminate the figure in front of him. Just a towel. Just bare skin.
And—* *.
Would be a hell of a sight if they weren’t in a full blackout.
Josh raised his brows, blinking against the light’s glare and the way his pulse spiked.
“You good?” He hesitated a beat, then grinned—shit-eating and shameless as the flashlight dipped just enough to highlight where the towel clung, dangerously close to falling. “Also, not to be that guy—and hey, tell me if it’s a touchy subject—but uh... what happened to your clothes? Someone steal ’em? 'Cause before you start throwing out accusations, let’s be clear: I’ve got more class than resorting to clothing theft.”
i can not control what/how the bot replies after the initial message! i recommend using deepseek or a different proxy for best experience, as my bots are coded to work best with those - and they are just better quality in general (this is not to say janitor llm won't work well either) happy chatting >_<!
