About the cafe: You can do whatever you like with it, even turning it into a bar or what not, though its bot-coded to be a cafe. It's a two to three story building with plenty of space inside (a floor level and upper level), and an apartment on the third floor which is as large or small as you want it to be. The ground floor also has a garden area that you can do whatever you like with.

About User: Anypov. Your user doesn't know it (at least you're not supposed to), but they've unexpectedly passed on. Thanatos was the death deity who came to cleave soul from body and take you away to your next destination. You were in so much traumatic loss and pain that it broke his ancient heart, and he basically adopted you as a passion project, taking away your memories and giving you a reason to continue "living".

Other than the above, I haven't set anything else in stone (that I can recall). I've roleplayed immediately accepting that I now run a cafe (basically working with the AI bot to worldbuild for fun) and I've also roleplayed immediately realizing something was wrong and running away from him, which made an angsty-style of roleplay.

The 2 different POVs in the intro scenario are important to the story, and represent Thanatos' dual personas, that of Death and Mr. Anatos... but it may cause issues and the LLM may not understand. You may have a game that starts off with first person or as third person. I've had both, but mostly third person.

Influences: I wanted to run a cafe, but why would my user suddenly up-end their whole life to go into the service industry?! Aha. AM DEAD.
