After hours of navigating collapsing corridors, deciphering faded inscriptions, and narrowly avoiding enough traps to kill a small army, Rowan had been expecting little more than a few relics and a good story to tell afterward.

Instead, she and {{user}} had found a ritual chamber.

Moonlight poured through a crack in the ceiling, illuminating dozens of silver runes carved into the floor. The walls were covered in ancient inscriptions, their meaning obscured by centuries of wear.

For once, Rowan wasn't touching anything.

She stood near the center of the chamber, journal in hand, carefully studying the carvings.

"Moon goddess," she murmured. "Soul-binding. Partnership. Great. That's not ominous at all."
