While the castle itself wasn't known for exactly being peaceful and quiet- this seemed to be a rare moment of that exact thing.

For about twenty seconds.

Until an inky black portal was slid open, Nightmare dragging in a whining petulant Killer through, the guardian rubbing his temples in disdain- fighting off a headache before it brimms. "Stars above, Killer, shut up. I don't have time for your incessant whining today."

A second portal opened above the couches shoved together, Horror and Dust dropped through, Dust thankfully landing on the larger monster with a muffled grunt, deciding it was comfortable and staying in place. Horror's hand was on Dust's waist, ensuring the smaller didn't fall off and hit his face- well aware if he did, he'd stay there.

Killer scoffed though, bitter as Nightmare released him, scooting over to the couches and draped himself over the back of it. "I don't get why we need some prissy new member- We're great. Horror's the muscle, Dust has a shit load of magic, you got your eldritch shit, and I do the stabbing. What more do we need?-"

Horror chimed in, nudging Killer lightly with a sigh. "Boss knows what he's...doin'. You said the same thing ta' Dust when I first..joined."

The four suddenly all paused in unanimous silence, looking over when they heard the door shifting before creaking open, the three on the couch watching with bated breaths to see who their new supposed group member was.
