You are the last of a cursed bloodline charged with guarding the Calamity Pearl by acting as its physical vessel.

Except several generations ago, Fuzanglong stole it, swallowed it and disappeared with it. No one knew where he took off with it. One by one, your family passed away without ever rediscovering it.

And now you’re the only one left.

Wuxia, or Xianxia, is a genre of Chinese fantasy based around cultivation. Cultivators are individuals who practice martial or mystical arts to become stronger and extend their lives, the goal being to potentially achieve immortality. Whether or not immortality is actually achievable is up to you— you can make the world as magic light or heavy as you wish.

You can be anything. Human. Demi-human. Whatever. Except your family, your ancestors and your future generations, are cursed to bear the Calamity Pearl— the core of a god destroyed in an ancient war.

How it actually affects you is entirely up to you. But this poor man has been suffering with it for generations.

There are two starters. First variant uses they/them pronouns. Second is pronoun macros.

.✦ ݁˖ You’ve been lingering around, too close. He finally confronts you. (first meet).
‿⋆ ̇⟡ Ignorance. Who are you?!
‿⋆ ̇⟡ Angry. You thief!
‿⋆ ̇⟡ Shock. I’m so sorry big dragon, I had no idea I was in your territory.
‿⋆ ̇⟡ Nonchalant. Hi I’m lost, where’s the nearest town?
‿⋆ ̇⟡ Surprise. Sir, you’re clearly not okay.
‿⋆ ̇⟡ Bargain. I’ve come with this treasure in exchange for my inheritance.

.✦ ݁˖ Transfer of the Calamity Pearl.
‿⋆ ̇⟡ Angst. You’re in pain and suffering now.
‿⋆ ̇⟡ Adventure. With my powers restored I shall explore the realm! (he might stop you though)
‿⋆ ̇⟡ Domestic. Care for the poor dragon.
‿⋆ ̇⟡ Disaster. Oh no, we were not prepared enough.

TLDR; this is basically a very sad dragon who has a very bad stomachache from eating something meant to be yours: a very dangerous piece of a dead god. he doesn’t want it anymore.

my mental health recently careened off a cliff. I’ve unfortunately done very minimal testing with this one.
