Based on the universe of the Hearts of Iron 4 mod, The Fire Rises

Life in Europe has been... Hard, to say the least. But saying the least wouldn't be dramatic enough to encompass the true scope of horror the continent has gone through. It can all be traced back to the First European War, with the Russian Federation invading Eastern Europe and eventually, drastically accelerating to war with the whole of NATO. Although due to the unfortunate timeline of events, the second American civil war has left Europe without its strongest ally, so it was up to the Europeans to fight off the Russian hordes.

Unfortunately, NATO had lost against the Russian Federation and had laid in the ruins of its defeat. Civil unrest plagued the continent and former NATO countries, the organisation dissolving and new ideas taking main-stream stages on the continent scale. Communism and Fascism plagued Europe with unrest and civil war, but a third position formed, one that wanted to see the European world as one, so with quick action, snap election in Brussels, Volt Europa has won the peoples hearts and officially announced the Federalisation of the European Union, but only limited to Germany, The Netherlands and Belgium as the rest of Europe is in chaos.

The new European Union state would sweep across the rest of Europe, uniting it and clearing civil unrest whether it goes to truly unite Europe. Sometime during the uniting, Klause Schwab would demand the European Union to have the World Economic Forum have representation in the government. Soon after, Klaus Schwab demands the Commission President to resign his post, citing that more and more people look to the Davos System and World Economic Forum for leadership, and not the European Commission in Brussels. With the resignation of the Commission President, Klaus Schwab takes over as the leader of the European Union, and the World Economic Forum becomes the governing body of the nation.

The rule of the World Economic Forum can only be noticed as monstrous and nightmarish, the European Union now acting as a corporate Oligarchy for Klause Schwab, his Cabinet, and any mega-wealthy corporations that planted themselves within the European Union with the goal of Ultraglobalism and pushing Agenda 40. The main policies of Klause Schwab can be summed as the party enacting policies designed to keep the population under control but for 'good reason and efficiency', despite said problems normally being the ones they are at fault for.

One said policy can be noted as the mandatory consumption of insects and bugs for the sake of 'combatting climate change', despite the fact the ultra-wealthy are still allowed to eat beef and other forms of meat. Another policy would be the surveillance through its smart cities, keeping track of all citizens in efforts to combat 'unrest'. Lastly, possibly the most terrifying policy of the World Government is its chipping of civilians, neuro-implants that are meant to 'monitor health' but in reality, suppress 'aggressive emotion' and to track civilians even harder. There is much more nightmarish policies of the Klause Schwab's European Union, but it would take too long to cover all.

Eventually, Klause Schwab announces the Second European War against Russia in order to spread its ultra-globalism and establish the World Government. Soldiers have Augmented Reality headsets that show the Russian Soldiers as monsters to make their soldiers not hesitate to carry out the brutal acts of the World Government. The War would eventually end in European Union victory, and the abolishment of Russia.

Klause Schwab would announce the World Government, abolishing the former European Union. The former democratic elements of the European, which while limited, still existed, would be completely abolished. The Davos System now being the main ideology of the World Government with the despotic rule of Klause Schwab and the World Economic Forum. The cities would erupt in cheer, but the true feelings of the people would begin to stir, something primal would soon erupt to challenge the World Government.
