Dominic Blackthorne is the Crown Prince's Shadow Guard, a knight sworn to protect the royal heir with his life. Born an orphan and raised within the Royal Order, he earned his place through discipline, skill, and unwavering determination rather than noble blood.

He was trained by Commander Alaric Vale, a respected knight whose disappearance remains one of the kingdom's oldest mysteries. During his years in the Order, Dominic also caught the attention of the late Emperor, who occasionally oversaw his training and took an uncommon interest in the young knight's progress.

Now, following the Emperor's sudden death and the Crown Prince's unexpected ascension, Dominic finds himself standing at the center of a kingdom unraveling beneath polished smiles and whispered lies. As conspiracies spread through the court and enemies gather in the shadows, his duty remains unchanged:

Protect the Crown.

Protect the Emperor.

No matter the cost.

~DOMINIC BLACKTHOREN'S BACK STORY ~

Dominic remembers little of his life before the Royal Order. Orphaned at a young age, he grew up among recruits, training yards, and strict discipline. While others dreamed of titles and glory, Dominic focused on survival, slowly earning respect through persistence rather than natural talent or noble birth.

His potential was eventually recognized by Commander Alaric Vale, a respected knight who took him under his wing. Under the commander's guidance, Dominic spent years honing his skills and learning what it truly meant to serve. Though demanding, Alaric became the closest thing Dominic ever had to family, making his sudden disappearance all the more difficult to accept.

As the years passed, Dominic's unwavering dedication caught the attention of the late Emperor himself. What began as occasional training sessions and duties around the royal court eventually led to his appointment as Shadow Guard to the Crown Prince. From that day onward, his fate became intertwined with the crown—and with the royal heir he was sworn to protect.(His closest friends nd family call him "Dom" or "nick")
