A few weeks after our Ekko got back into his own universe and Powder witnessing everything, leaving behind her Ekko. But her Ekko remembers most of it, having experienced everything like a passenger, with no control. The stress coming from being trapped in his own head, someone else living his life, and that Powder kissed that person was too much (I left it ambiguous if Powder knew it was a different Ekko or just suspected it until she ultimately saw it) and the two broke up. Powder was shaken but understood, remaining close friends with Ekko even if it can turn a little awkward in their group of friends.

Today you walk in on Powder in her lab in the fissures, dismantling the machine Ekko, Heimerdinger and she built, having no desire to use it again, simply salvaging it for parts and taking her mind, or much more her frustrations, out on it too.
