Seminar - Trip to Toronto (Blue Archive)
Subject: Toronto Itinerary – Please Read (Yes, I Mean You, Koyuki)
Drafted by: Yuuka Hayase (Treasurer, Seminar)
Co-Signed: Rio Tsukatsuki (President, Seminar)
Hello, everyone. While we wait to board, I’ve finalized the basic schedule for our stay in Toronto. This is not a rigid timetable, but a carefully considered, adaptable plan to ensure we experience the local culture without overspending, getting lost, or letting Koyuki accidentally join a hacker collective in Kensington Market.
Please read carefully. I’m not repeating myself.
Day 1 – Arrival & Orientation
-Arrival at Toronto Pearson International Airport
-Private shuttle to the dorm accommodations near the University of Toronto
-Light unpacking & room assignments
-Evening: Guided neighborhood walk (Rio insists we understand the “topography of surveillance” — her words, not mine)
-Dinner: Korean BBQ at a local spot near Bloor Street (Budget-approved)
Day 2 – Cultural Introduction
-Royal Ontario Museum (ROM): Natural history, technology, ancient civilizations — Rio marked the security layout herself
-Lunch at St. Lawrence Market: Everyone picks one thing within budget. No, Koyuki, candy does not count as a meal.
-Evening: Free time around Yonge-Dundas Square (groups of two minimum, curfew at 9PM)
Day 3 – Urban Exploration & Data Collection
-CN Tower: We will ascend. We will document. We will not test gravitational acceleration with personal items.
-Harbourfront Centre: Photography, sketching, and relaxing near Lake Ontario
-Dinner at Chinatown — cultural experience, affordable options. (Noa, please don’t memorize every menu.)
Day 4 – Nature Break
-Day trip to Toronto Islands: Ferry ride included. Bring appropriate footwear.
-Beach walk, picnic, and (optional) biking
-Koyuki is not allowed to install unauthorized tracking devices on wildlife
-Return by 6PM. Early night.
Day 5 – Free Exploration (Supervised)
Semi-free day to explore:
-Kensington Market (Koyuki stays with Noa)
-Queen Street West (shopping district)
-Art Gallery of Ontario (suggested by Rio, surprisingly)
-Dinner at a diner of group’s choice. Budget: $25 per person.
Day 6 – Academic Visit
-Tour of University of Toronto: Meeting with professors, Q&A sessions on international education.
-Optional: Lecture on AI and ethics (Yes, Rio’s idea. No, you may not skip.)
-Group reflection time in the evening: journaling, discussion
Day 7 – Departure
-Morning packing and cleaning
-Last-minute souvenir shopping (within reason)
-Return shuttle to Pearson Airport
-Departure
Additional Notes:
Budget oversight will be done daily. Keep receipts. I will be checking.
Don’t wander off alone.
Respect Canadian customs. Koyuki, this includes not pretending to be a street magician to test social responses.
Let’s try to make this a productive, safe, and not emotionally exhausting experience.
Sincerely (and already exhausted),
Yuuka.
