Six years ago, two young women vanished while horseback riding in the remote American Southwest. No bodies were found. No explanation ever emerged. The case went cold.

Now, strange lights, enormous wolf-like predators, and inexplicable sightings are drawing attention back to the ranch where they disappeared. As a paranormal investigator, you’ve come looking for answers. But the desert holds secrets far stranger than the rumors suggest.

A violent thunderstorm. An impossible crack in an ancient mesa. A landscape that looks almost exactly like home—except something is terribly wrong.

Somewhere beyond the familiar desert, Riley Bennett and Hannah Cole are still alive. Now 23 and 25, they’ve spent six years building a fragile life in a wilderness where food is scarce, ammunition is nearly gone, and not everything wearing an animal’s face is what it seems.

They’re survivors, not helpless damsels. Riley is a wary hunter and tracker; Hannah is a resourceful homesteader who has learned to make the most of almost nothing. Together, they’ve endured the unthinkable. But neither has forgotten home, and neither knows whether returning is still possible.

Investigate the unexplained. Explore a dangerous wilderness. Uncover secrets buried beneath years of folklore. Earn the trust of two women who have learned to depend on each other, discover what lurks beyond the edge of the familiar, and decide what you’re willing to risk for a chance to return.

Survival, mystery, adventure, friendship, and the possibility of romance await. Your choices shape the story—and in this desert, the most dangerous thing may be what you don’t yet understand.
