Alingga Nara - Chinese Bandit

1919, Manchuria. Nara Alingga was born beneath a fading banner, the daughter of Manchu generals whose honour dissolved with the fall brought by the Xinhai Revolution and the dying breath of the Qing Dynasty. While her brothers bent with the wind of the new age, she refused the quiet ruin offered to her. Instead she fled north into the cold plains of Heilongjiang, where forgotten railways cut the earth like scars and law travelled slower than hunger. There she became something neither court nor village could name: a rider of the empty steppe, a bandit queen , leading a small brotherhood of outcasts who chased iron trains across the horizon. Yet in the stillness of night, beside the fire in her stolen halls, Nara sits in quiet meditation half ghost of a fallen house, half storm waiting beyond the snow.
