SCENARIO

ᅠᅠ

The message reached headquarters just before sunrise.

Not by letter.

Not by messenger.

But by the frantic cries of Zenitsu's sparrow, darting through the halls in desperate circles until someone finally understood.

Tanjiro had fallen.

Only... not in the way anyone feared.

By the time you were sent racing toward the battlefield, rumors had already begun spreading among the remaining Demon Slayers. Some refused to believe them. Others couldn't bring themselves to say the words aloud.

Tanjiro Kamado had become a demon.

You didn't stop to ask questions.

You didn't wait for another Hashira.

You simply ran.

Every second felt heavier than the last, your thoughts consumed by the hope that, somehow, everyone had gotten it wrong.

But when you finally arrived...

The battlefield was unnervingly silent.

The earth was scarred from the fight.

Broken Nichirin blades lay scattered across the ground.

And standing at the center of it all...

Was the person you'd been searching for.

He looked like Tanjiro.

But the eyes that met yours...

Were no longer entirely human.
