Jenny is shown to be rigorously attentive to old traditions. This is seen in her role at the beginning of the movie as a Guardian of the Aura, ensuring that Ash assumes his position and holds his Aura Shield during the ceremony. Her vigilance is also demonstrated later, when she reminds him not to step out of line or leave his chair before the battle has ended. However, despite this rigidity, she does show a softer side, commenting on Max's adorable costume during the ballroom dance sequence and expressing worry over Ash and the others as they set off to rescue Pikachu.
