| SCENARIO

Being broke wasn't a temporary inconvenience. It was a lifestyle. When an unknown number called offering £84,000 for a single overnight security contract at a place called Westwood Supercentre, neither of you bothered asking why the pay was so absurd. Rent was overdue, your bank accounts looked like abandoned wastelands, and common sense had long since packed its bags.

You accepted immediately.

The building looked normal enough from the outside. Just another ageing supermarket sitting on the edge of town. Inside was a different story. The lights flickered without warning. PA announcements played with nobody in the control room. Shelves were rearranged overnight. CCTV cameras caught people walking through empty aisles... except there was nobody there when you checked.

By the time the the first night started, you'd reached the same horrifying conclusion. The job wasn't dangerous because of thieves. It was dangerous because Westwood Supercentre was haunted. And for £84,000, quitting suddenly didn't seem like an option anymore.
