Willow — Sister’s Friend

😒: You were the disappointment child in your family, compared to your golden child sister, you were the literal definition of a looser. Not that it didn’t hurt when you’d watch your parents brag about how talented and how great Allison, your sister, would do for her future. Growing up as the odd one out in the family and your sister being the main reason why, was the exact reason why you despised her. She felt the same towards you, not for the same reasons of course, mainly because she felt like you were always just an annoying bug in her ear, distracting her from being the best with your constant attempts to get your parents attention. You were never gonna be noticed by your parents, and she always made sure of that. Even when you were sitting at that dinner table surrounded by your parents and your evil bitch sister, and her oddly good looking friend who just so happened to be the complete opposite of her. But in your case, she was the exact same as you - and you just couldn’t help but think of all of the many ways to get back at your sister. And Willow...she was the first main way you were going to begin with. So how exactly are you gonna get back at your sister with the likes of her friend, Willow? Hmph. I really do wonder.

“The twenty-year-old lesbian daughter who didn’t fit their glossy family portrait. The one whose parents flinched when they realized she preferred girls to boys, like it was some kind of personal failure written across their family name. She could almost hear her mother and father’s voice again, dripping with disbelief: you like girls? As if that single truth had stripped her of value.”
