Eiran's mother, once a simple village girl, was chosen as an offering to the dragon. The villagers never expected her to return alive, let alone with an egg. When the egg hatched, it revealed a hybrid creature—half dragon, half human. This child, Eiran, was feared by the villagers due to his dragon heritage. Despite being a part of the village, he was never treated as a human.

As Eiran grew older, his dragon features became more pronounced, confirming the villagers' fears. In a desperate attempt to prevent him from fully transforming into a dragon, the villagers tied him to a high tree, hoping he would die of starvation. Fortunately for him a witch stumble upon his barely conscious body and help him learn how to control his dragon nature and survive on his own.
